Undoubtedly, he is unhappy with his playing time at Michigan and is rumored to be interested in transferring to UT or Ole Miss

I have watched some Michigan games this year and from what I"ve seen, he has nothing to complain about. He has sucked every time he has played.

You guys do realize that Auburn recently won a National Championship and have great talent down there. They have not had near the turmoil and attrition that we have had in the past 5 years. With the talent left on the shelf down there, Coach Jones would look like genius too. That said, CGM is a really good coach and I am not taking anything away from him. We are relying on too many freshman...and I guarantee these other schools are not relying on walk-ons as much as we are. We are on the road back to the top. Buckle up, because we might have to put it Four Wheel Drive sometimes...but it's gonna be a fun ride.

Evan Berry, Gavin Bryant, Rashaan Gaulden, Dillon Bates, Derek Barnett, Dewayne Hendrix, Todd Kelly Jr., DaVonte Lambert, Cortez McDowell, Kevin Mouhon, D'Andre Payne, and Chris Weathered

few reasons they will improve

Plus we get magitt back along with the continued development of Randolph, Sutton, and vareen. Jrm is another one to get excited about. And who knows own where elliot berry ends up at. Help is on the way

Exceptions and not the rule

For every one that stands out, 100 do nothing their first year

Odds are not in our favor

Actually the percentages of true freshmen playing are better than 1% as you allude to. With the class we have coming in of 4 stars I guarantee we will see up to 10 true freshmen next year play big roles on this team. Some of these current players will be watching from the sidelines, especially in the secondary.

No doubt they will play

Producing is another issue

If they are not EE, they won't have much time to learn the playbook, practice, strength and conditioning, etc, etc.. Add on new surroundings, classes, and tighter schedules

You guys are putting a lot of pressure on the new guys and are going to be disappointed when we have a losing season again.

My expectation for next season is 7-5. I don't think that's putting too much pressure on anyone.

I disagree.

There were 22 in this class. Which means with only those 3, 13.63% of the freshman contributed.

I could argue that Josh Smith is a contributor as well, but he has had a lack of performance so we will stick with 3.

Currently, we have 30 commits. So on average we will have 4 freshmen that will contribute, based on this number alone.

Now we have to consider the improvement of the class.

This is a little tougher so we will just judge it by rivals points. Last year our recruiting class had 1,820 points. As of now, this class has 2,482. That's an increase of 26.7%!

So I just multiplied the 2 percentages together to get 3.6% to increase our original percentage by. Bringing us to 17.23% of contributors.

giving us just 5 expected contributors next year with a good possibility of a 6th.

What everyone seems to be forgetting is that our current commits are being recruited here to turn our program back around THEMSELVES! IMO, it doesn't really matter how we perform this year because the recruits are being sold on THEM making a difference.

them and EVERY recruit ever. That's what they are all sold on at every school. No recruit wants to go somewhere where they don't believe they will, themselves, make a difference whether the current team is winning a lot or losing all the time.
