In before "he's too lanky" comments.

Yeah, lanky like Herschel and Bo. This kid is going to make some safeties taste their own blood soon.

It's hard to imagine that this kid still has 14 months to go until he is a true freshman. Got a gut feeling that he will be special.

Hey, 232 lbs of fury. Definitely looks like there is little fat on Jalen. He doesn't look like 232, but he's also 6' 3".

Am I the only one who thinks Jalen doesn't look like a linebacker? He has a slender upper body with a powerful lower body. Good size for running back. Prototype for a wideout.

Could go either way - at his age he is built more like a LB - look at some of the LB's he was up against - they aren't much different.

Must have hurt bragging on a Tennessee guy.

If the truth hurts.....just say.....

I'm thinking TE for him, I cant imagine him staying that size and being a RB.

yeah,it worked out horrible being that size last year as a RB...My gosh he looks quick and fast at 232lbs...Im just glad he's a VFL...:rock2:

and no mention of Joe Henderson blowing by the OL
ESPN was hyping, time and time again???

real solid work ESPN...at least they gave Hurd props...

If you've been keeping up, kid, you'll know the "looks lanky" people have lately been saying Jalen looks legit. A single picture made him look like one of them long legged Texans who live around Loraine and Bartonville, Texas. Recent videos shows he something a whole lot more. Give it a rest, Lucas McCain?

I like Hurd, really glad he committed and he's on our side. I find it HILARIOUS that, had he committed to a place like Bama or Georgia, we'd be saying he'd play LB because RB's "cant be tall." Case and point is Derrick Henry. Derrick Henry MAY be built more like a LB than Hurd, but they are both unusually tall for HB. I know Hurd will play HB here, because we will have no other options really. I just think it's funny how everything changes when the guy commits here over somewhere else.
