Jalen Hurd Video on Espn

I think he will eventually move away from the rb position and take over as the QB and leader that TN needs. He will also accept a co-offensive coordinator role as well as an assistanceship on defense, specializing in db's. rumors are that he wants the Smokey mascot position as well. We'll see

How is that guy gonna brag on that O-lineman when Henderson is just blowing by him every rep? Odd.

I thought the same thing, I kept looking at the bottom of the screen for the DL's name but they kept the OL's name up the whole time. And he was getting TOASTED.

Yeah the commentator said "and they weren't getting by him most of the time."

I was thinking yeah well except for Jalen Hurd's future UT team mate Joe Henderson :)

He's too lanky for RB in SEC, which is not a bad thing. Will be a great TE or WR. Tenn high school football is a bit of a joke, so his highlights are a bit skewed. He wouldn't do that against LA or Florida high school defenses. This explains his 4 star status. Great pickup for us though!

In before "he's too lanky" comments.

Yeah, lanky like Herschel and Bo. This kid is going to make some safeties taste their own blood soon.

If you've been keeping up, kid, you'll know the "looks lanky" people have lately been saying Jalen looks legit. A single picture made him look like one of them long legged Texans who live around Loraine and Bartonville, Texas. Recent videos shows he something a whole lot more. Give it a rest, Lucas McCain?

Meanwhile, in this very thread . . .

I respect your enthusiasm for Hurd. But it's not like he's Jamal Lewis or Travis Henry.

He doesnt need to be. He needs to be HURD. Kills me when people just look at size for a position. It takes a mindset to play RB and he has it. Quick feet, accelerates fast, and catches well. Ill take my chances

Do you think Derrick Henry would not play RB here at 6'3 240? I think he gets movedvat Bama but only because they are stacked but bama guys say even though he got hurt, he put those rumors away because he was impressing so much at RB. Just sayin if your 6'3 240 and can play rb at alabama right now, you can anywhere. Jmo

Tell that to Brandon Jacobs. He is 6'4" and is one of the best backs in the league

No he isn't haha.

Hurd is a special special athlete. He will play RB because he has elite traits for that position. He has ridiculous vision, burst and power. Who cares how y'all he is? If he's a brick ****house it's not gonna matter. He may honestly leave UT with the career rushing record.

Never underestimate the predictability of stupidity, Rifleman, never.

The ignorance is strong with these two. :jpshakehead:
