Personally, I believe Jalen Steele would be a big upgrade over Skyler Mcbee if that is who we plan on giving a scholarship to. If Jalen Steele opens up his recruitment since Lebo got fired at Auburn today... I really hope the Vols would give him a look this time around b4 he makes us regret it over the next 4 years like Chris Lofton did KY and others...
Just my opinion ... but I am a former Fulton High grad lol

I believe he's already signed his letter of intent with Auburn, which binds him unless their next coach grants a release. . . . . probably unlikely.

McBee's getting a look at a scholarship because he's a "3-pt specialist" and UT is in high demand for one of those right now. Steele is an underwhelming PG and we've got a full class as it is.

i still say that if pearl gives mcbee a scolly it will keep the vols from builden the best 4 year span of players ever at ut ,cause we need the scolly he isto get to land adonis thomis or wroten

+1

I love the effort in him. But beyond sentimentality, I would save it for a bigger fish. That is if CBP is after a NC.

 is that English? I fail to see how giving a scholly to a player who has busted his tail and given his all for the orange would keep the Vols from "builden" anything

Uh, because that would be taking up a scholarship that we could use for someone who can actually play. Steven Pearl is more deserving of a scholarship than McBee at this point.

You cant be serious and thinking that giving him a scholarship would be good for the team. I would much rather use that scholarship on a 4 or 5 star recruit, even a 3 star than Mcbee right now. IMO

Mcbee a 3 point specialist??!!! OMFG!!! Are you serious? Well if by "specialist" you mean he specializes in scoring less than three points per game or specializing in NOT making 3s, then yeah I guess he is a three point specialist. I almost $#!+ my pants when I read that.
