Robert Meachem and Arron Sears in 2006. Hyatt still leads the nation in receiving TDs and is 2nd in receiving yards per game. He's also just 183 yards away from breaking Meachem's UT single-season record of 1,298 yards. Hooker is a strong A-A contender but he faces stiffer competition for that honor at QB.

Our last 3 All-America WRs: Meachem

Not honoring Hooker would be a tragedy.

Rare air for sure. Man, I had forgotten how great we used to be at churning at WRs.

Most intelligent thing Neuheisel said yesterday was "Coach Heupel's recruiting job starts right there with holding onto Hyatt.".

I think it’s going to be really difficult to do. If Hooker was coming back that’s one thing, but a change in quarterback makes any receiver putting up huge #’s hesitant to come back and risk lowering his draft stock.

Biggest draw for Hyatt to come back is Joe’s cannon for an arm. Hyatt’s speed with Milton’s deep ball would be a lot of fun to watch and could possibly put up video game numbers. Squirrel got a glimpse of things to come yesterday

Plus, he's just seen Tillman lose half a season to injury. If you get a first-round grade, you go.

It's crazy that Hyatt is 2nd in NCAA in receiving yards yet has 19 less receptions than the leader in yards. Also, Hyatt has 6 more TD's than that guy.

If Jalin gets a 1st day grade he will leave imo as he should. I'm not sure coming back would be in his best interest. Get paid young man
