I realize that a performance in a Jamboree means little but B. J. Coleman looked awesome against Red Bank, who has been picked to have the best defense in the Chattanooga area. How are the other early signees doing?

Any updates from anyone who saw some action tonight?

I saw Maryville won big. Lenoir City lost a close one. Bearden won. What else?

I don't know how Tyler Maples did overall but I saw that he did catch a TD pass.

Also saw where Catholic won but haven't heard if Harrison Smith did anything.

What was the score of the Catholic game?

They were playing in Smith County, pretty close to here, home of the single most arrogant high school football fans you'll ever meet. I can only hope it was 91-0.

Reportedly, Smith ran for 145 yards on 12 carries and 2 TDs, apparently they were both long runs. Said he has deceptive speed, you don't realize how fast he is until he's running by you. Also played very well on defense, saving a couple of TDs.

What's the deal with him? I never have heard that we have offered him. He doesn't list us in his top six in the latest articles I have seen.

I think that Tate wants to play RB and all of the schools he is looking at either don't want him for RB or have better RBs on their board. We aren't showing him much love because of that. ND, UF, FSU, and UM are his top 4 but none have offered. I'd watch for Bama(the next Prothro maybe?).
