James Banks fall

Okay, I'm a huge Vol fan and yes, this season has been up and down to say the least. James Banks has been one of our go to guys all season. He's a great talent, but did anyone else see him just pass out at the line of scrimage yesterday. He hit the ground and popped back up, ran a short inside route and ended up catching the pass. My question is why in the world did he fall down? Anyone have any thoughts?

I think what happened is that he lost his balance. Instead of moving and getting a penalty, he kept still long enough for the ball to be snapped. I can't say I have ever seen anything like that happen though. He fell like a statue. :lol:

On the Sunday AM call in show, Terrence Cleveland said that he heard in the locker room that the play clock was getting ready to hit 00 and Banks didn't think that Casey was going to get the snap off in time, so he "dropped dead" in hopes of getting the referee to blow the whistle instead of throwing a delay of game flag. We had no time outs left when it occured. Don't know if that's true or not, but pretty darn creative.

If that is true what a heads up play! ESPN was saying something about it but I didn't catch what they were saying.
