how about a serious reply, i thought he was playing?

He has stayed in the dog house since walking onto the campus and Coach Sparks told him to get serious or go home. He has been unwilling to step up.

 I my humble opinion Banks became one of the all too many posterboys for the lack of discipline and dedication we see in a significant number this generation of young athletes. They come out of high school were they are taught to believe all the local press written about them. Then they get a little attention from the national recruiters, and become super-stars in their own minds. Then they rise to being exempt from all rules of decent and respectable adult behaviour.

Basically, quite a few never grow past the level of juvenile delinqency. :bad:

Ah hell, I say let him back.

The naysayers hate Fulmer already anyway, might as well start doing things to deserve their ire.

We can argue social problems/cultural problems in the pub, Banks is a mere kid after all.

A kid?

Is he not 21 by now? Even so, I think "man" begins at 18. There is a day when the "being a kid" excuse has to end.

Around here, they obviously don't start till after 35, from some of the evidence I've seen.

I have a friend who goes to Carson Newman and was telling me he's seen Banks do some of the same things that got him kicked out of Tennessee. This was a few months ago and I didn't want to bring it up at the time because he hadn't really gotten into trouble thus far at Carson Newman.

I assume this is why he won't be playing anymore. It is a very sad thing, as Banks was/is a tremendous player.
