Hopefully going to PSU, but I'd be surprised if Mullin didn't end up there

No it's a contract extension.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure they don't hold pressers to sign a contract extension. I thought they just sat at a desk, picked up and pen, and boom, signed. Done.

I just simply can't imagine that tool getting hired by PSU. If anything, I think it's a presser to say he isn't going to PSU.

If he's taking another job I highly doubt it's Penn St. UNC seems more logical for a coach with a career record of 6-6

Maybe he's going to UCLA, taking Wilcox and Sirmon, AND Tee Martin. Then he gets Porter to join up, and brings in Mike Stoops.

It could happen....

It'll be funny watching them regress to same old vandy next year though...everyone was saying the same thing about vandy after 2008 when they returned 17 starters for 2009. Then they went 2-10.

I really can't believe he got a contract extension for 6-6 and a very far out rumor that another team might be interested. Vandy comes off looking desperate here.

Most pathetic part of this article...

Vanderbilt will host a bowl announcement celebration at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the Student Life Center that is free and open to the public.

:):):)

under/over 150 people show up?

Considering their history, I have no problem with him earning an extension for making a bowl.

He'll be Bobby Johnson all over again. They got all bent out of shape when Vandy started 5-0 in 2008 and his name popped up in rumors for other jobs. By the end of the year, Vandy was 6-6, nobody wanted him, and 2 years later he's out of coaching.

It has to be for a contract extension, unless we're getting some out of the blue bombshell, which I doubt.

I dont think Franklin will stay at Vanderbilt long.
He's a good coach, he will get a better offer.
