I want him gone! As long as he's at Vandy, that will at least be a close game. I miss when that was a sure-thing.

Scared of a well coached team. Maybe the UT should play the same schedule Candy does, but wait, UT is still on that schedule and Franklin has a winning record against them. I hope all current coaches stay in place. Will be more meaningful when the UT starts beatng or competing with all again yearly. I despise the bammers, bulldogs, gators and commodores as much as any UT fan, but I want the UT to compete and beat the best, no zooks, dubose and dinardos.

Herbstreit just threw Franklin's name out as a candidate for the Texas HC job. I'll be surprised if Texas even shows interest.

That sounds all big and tough to say, but we will never get back to our glory days if we can't get some wins soon. The year Peyton won the Super Bowl, he was asked about how it felt beating the Pats. He said he was just happy to have won the game and he'd have preferred to just play the Raiders 18 times in a row to get there.
We will always have a tough schedule. I just miss when we could almost guarantee a perfect November every year. I didn't say I want them all gone, just Franklin. Wanting Vandy to suck hardly makes me scared. Spoiled, maybe!

So, basically JF is on every coaching vacancy list yet he never gets hired. How must it feel to know your coach is shopping himself to every team with an opening (Sans Bowling Green) JF should have jumped last year, the rape scandal and his "winning against losers" scheduling has exposed him. I think he's stuck.

Also, I think his best bet is the vacancy created by the Texas hire. Ex: Louisville if CS gets the nod at UTjr.
