I suppose that knocks MSU out of the favorite column in the West. Good lord that division is gonna be a clusterf$%# again. Maybe LSU will return to supremacy, or Bama. Maybe Kennedy will prove coaching is more important than talent. Maybe Arkansas wins with straight talent.

From what I saw of Gordon in the SECT, he could use another year in college. He is strong and quick with a nice shot, but he lacks polish to his game and has some fundamental problems. My take was that he is a good athlete with a lot of talent, but I'm not sure he has turned into a butterfly just yet.

First the Delk brother and now this. MSU players can't seem to get out of there fast enough.

If a guy declares and doesn't sign with an agent, goes back to school say for his junior year. Can he then pull a Randolph Morris and sign with anyone right after the end of the season?

If I were in that position I would do that unless there is a monetary limit to the pro contract you sign that would be less than if I was drafted. Plus gotta have guaranteed $

Morris actually went through the draft and did not get picked. He then sat out the first semester of the following season. If somebody does not sign with an agent and withdraws his name from the draft before it takes place, he would not be able to do what Morris did. Morris became an NBA free agent by actually going through the draft.

MSU would have probably been the favorites to win the west, now with the loss of the Delk brothers and now Gordon, they aren't as looking as strong.

He's a helluva ballplayer, but just CAN'T shoot. He gets a jumper and lookout. Great handle and great size.

Jamont Gordon withdrew his name from the draft before Sunday's deadline. Consider Mississippi State, once again, as the favorite to win the SEC West.
