He's a good player but wow he sure did slip this year. And If I remember correctly, he only came back because he wanted to win a National title? I'm glad that worked out well

Its because of medical issues not because of a single game
But his play vs other elite forwards has been questioned too. Heard a lot off scouts have pointed to him against Thomas Robinson as a negative.

Now just imagine if Matta's other prized position would have stayed an extra year. He wouldn't have signed that big fat contract with the Trail Blazers.

I hate it for him, but at least if he doesnt play in the NBA we no longer have to see his dad every time he scores and see him look to the bench and scream

Some say the medical issues rumor was put out by a team outside of the lottery in hopes that he would fall to them.

NBA doctors red flagged him because of his back - according to a caption on ESPN last week - his dad denied any back issues - I can see Portland drafting him

So he can't even go to the draft even though they're saying he should still be a first rounder? Tobias was there and he was picked 19th.

But at least he has that degree to fall back on...

(yes, I'm being facetious)

That is why these kids need to strike while the iron is hot and say to hell with the fans and the media when they cry about players leaving early.

Unless your Florida, it doesn't work out well to come back another year for a national title.
