I would have to say he is probably the best in the business as of right now, wouldn't you?

And with the same useless posts.

The entire music industry or just country?

Btw, he's a good musician. Do you think he does drugs?

I liked Amarillo sun, but didn't hear much from him until this recent spike of success. I do like Dirt Road Anthem

Have no idea who that is.

Probably for the best. If you've heard a "country" song lately that sounds like someone trying to rock out to how country or redneck they are, you've heard Jason Aldean.

ummm. no. far from it. Best in the business is still George Strait until he leaves. Jason Aldean has trouble even singing country music on a consistent basis. Best newer member of country music? That's easy, Miranda Lambert.

Agreed that King George is still the best.

I'd say the best newcomer is either Blake Shelton (he's been in the business for a while, but just now hit it huge.) or Chris Young.

Even with your disclaimer, not sure why you throw Shelton in there as a newcomer. He had his first number one hit in 2001. Only thing that has changed is he became a judge on The Voice.

thread must be a joke.

Aldean is the worst thing happening in country music, not that there are any good acts in Nashville right now anyway. If you want to hear good country music, you have to get into the Texas/Red Dirt genres.

Aldean is the trailer park equivalent of Eric Church, except without running water and with earrings.

If you really think it is country music, may (country music) God have mercy on your soul.

Gotta agree, good look separating mainstream country from pop nowadays.

Lol @ nobody on the board (supposively) knowing anything about country music. Don't know what you're missing.
