has anyone heard anything else on this or even when he's gonna announce if he's leaving or not. If he stays our defense will be that much better next year. we should be one of the top d's in the nation if he stays. any other juniors that are thinkin about leaving or anything???

During his post game interviews, he kept referring to "WE" and "OUR" in reference to next seasons questions posed to him.

It may be a signal. But, it may be nothing.

I don't think that he would be drafted high. He is not very experienced and safety yet. He needs to stay one more year and get some more INT's under his belt. Then his paycheck will double.

My guess is if he stays, he goes late first, early 2nd round in the 06 draft. He goes and Id say a 4th or 5th round pick

Or, to put it so we all can understand, about a $10 million difference.

My schedule goes by the month and back and forth. It is complicated.

The more Quotes that I read from Allen after the Cotton Bowl, the more I think he is going to stay. He certainly hints that he might be back. If he does return, I am really looking forward to the defense. We only lose Burnett and while that is a big loss, we have Gaither, Simon, Jason and Marvin Mitchell along with Stewart back from injury. Add them to our D line that will be very deep and experienced and Hefney and Fellows. Man, we could have a top 10 Defense next year.

after the game, jason allen took the UT flag from the cheerlearders who were waving it infront of the UT band and vol fans and he streaked up and down the field with it waving it proudly. it was freak'n great as the aggs sulked out of the stadium. freak'n great!!

my guess is he's coming back for the SEC title and a shot at a nantional title.

I'll vouch for that. All of the defense seemed to play uncharacteristically consistent. Lots of good open-field tackles, nice push up front, good coverage (and actually playing the BALL for once). . . . . The speed and pursuit have never been lacking, but those three aspects have been hit or miss this year (and most years I can recall -- especially the secondary play).

If we can keep this squad together (pretty please, Jason???), it would be a nice compliment to what should be an offensive showcase of talent. Which, let's see, here's the equation for next year:

Potent offense + Stingy, hard-hitting defense = WIN

Then,

((WIN x 11) + SEC Championship)/(Absurd Rankings + No respect + BCS blunder) = ?

That's the question (Auburn knows the answer. . . )
