His three month suspension is over.

The other suspensions:

Tony Jones -- nine months
Bruce Pearl -- one year
Steve Forbes -- one year

Well at least until the NCAA ruling is announced. Hope these self imposed restriction are enough. Glad we have one coach making eye contact with recruits.

I read the article on govolsxta and there's a couple of big tournaments that Shay will be attending, so it's huge that his suspension is up. Go Vols

I dont think it will help a lot but it will definitely carry more weight than the money forfeited by the coaches.

Shay does the least amount of recruiting on staff anyways. Shay is mainly the X and O guy. Not sure how much this really helps in the long-run.

Well it helps in that at least someone from the staff can actually go see recruits in person and do some face to face time.....he may have been more of an Xs and Os guy but right now he's all we got for off campus recruiting

It at least gets them some in person evaluation. That's a positive.

Of course, you can be sure that rival coaches are going to be sure and remind prospects why Jason Shay is the only UT coach there.
