Jason White

I think this is a steal. Not many people give him a chance. But he didn't win the heisman for nothing.

Jason White hit the limit of his ability in college, he won't do anything on the pro level.

Hard to believe that a guy with a questionable arm that blew out both knees in college will make it in the NFL.

I hate to say he won't make it... He's got a shot. I honestly don't know how well he's developed as Big 12 defenses have proven very overrated... Maybe White has just not gotten good enough training. :dunno:

I think Stoops has a great system for developing an NFL QB, but it's all about whether White can overcome major physical limitations.

Yep, don't see him making it.

Can someone tell me when he was in Florida if stoops was the OC of DC?

I never said that Oklahoma was suddenly Quarterback U. I just meant that they had a good wide open system for a QB to play in. They're not exactly running the Wishbone out there anymore.

GAVol, you said

Has he had one QB make it in the NFL at all?

I am honestly asking.....I cant think of any

I can't think of any NFL QBs from Oklahoma in the last 20 years, but that wasn't my point. Milo said something about White not getting proper "training" and all I said was that I thought that the system that Oklahoma runs would be good for any QB trying to go to the next level. My point was that I didn't think the Oklahoma system was the reason for White not making it in the NFL.

Keep in mind that WE have a good system too, but the last time I checked we're only 1 QB ahead of Oklahoma as far as having successful NFL QBs.

Heath Shuler at least player and started in some games....I cant think of a single OU QB as of late

I know what you're saying, but Stoops has only had 2 Qbs since he got the job at Oklahoma. Josh Heupel got drafted sometime in the 5-6 round, I think. And Jason White won a Heisman - Not too bad a record with QBs.

I can't believe I have posted this many times on Oklahoma's passing attack.

That is true.

I am still shocked that OU beat FSU in the NC game

cant say I am, cost me several hundred site bucks....but it was gratifying to see oklahomans discover humility....I think White will do well with the Titans...they have an oline made just for him. McNair is the same type qb...talented yet fragile and injury prone....theyve protected him pretty well considering, only unknown in this, is whether he can gel with the team and be accepted...if so his talent will shine thru his accuracy...I think itll happen.

I agree with your statement.
