Sure wish Jason played with a team other than the cowboys and with a QB that knew how to finish a game

Man if any of our young TE can do half of what Jason did when he was here they will be doing good. The play I remember Jason on the most was his overtime TD catch against Arkansas in 02.

I sat by a man from Elizabethton and as the special teams took the field he asked "you see that #1 on the field? He's from Elizabethton and he's going to be a star!" Boy, was he correct.

I liked the way, after he caught the ball for a TD, he pointed to the crowd in the end zone as a big winning moment for Tennessee.

That play was emblematic of the fact that SEC speed will burn Big Ten beef every time.

My brother in law is a Michigan fan and I loved that whole game especially that part of the game.

Jason is a class act. When we lived in Arlington, Texas, my son, who was a teenager at the time, went to a pre-season Cowboys game at the old Texas Stadium when Kevin Burnett was also on the team. My son was standing near the fence wearing a #2 jersey. Jason, seeing it, went over and found Kevin and brought him over to where my son was standing. Both Kevin and Jason signed it. We put the jersey in a framed box and it is now hanging on his wall.

There has been some serious star power on campus lately. I hope they remember to call and not try to just show up.

I remember watching Jason back during the 2000/2001 seasons and thinking "This guy is going to play in the NFL one day." Little did I realize just how big of an impact player he would end up being.
