I would think that's a good assumption! It's being said that A'ja will make her only other official visit this winter. If that IS actually true, then I would say A'ja will sign with Dawn as well! In my opinion, this is big miss for Holly. I never felt the chances were too high in actually landing Wilson, but I thought White was a possibility. Does anyone know if Kia Nurse is going to be making an official to Knoxville? We have a solid class coming in. Hopefully, Jannah will be full strength next season! The 2015 class needs to be exceptional!!!

Were solid at every position but will certainly need inside players in the next class.

USC is in great shape to pull in the top 2 remaining undeclared prospects for the 2014 class, per ESPN's Hoopgurlz/ Collegiate Girls Basketball Report: overall #1 A'ja Wilson and overall #12 Shakayla Thomas.

Wilson, a SC product, has been heavily recruited by USC's Dawn Staley since her freshman year in HS. She is very close friends with Jatari White who just committed to USC and both talked often of playing together on the same college team. White (6-4) is a true post player who is left-handed. Wilson (6-4) is primarily a post player but is so talented she can play everwhere: back to the basket, facing the basket, on the perimeter as a swing or even at the point. She's right-handed, and both could man each side of the paint and do their thing without crowding each other...

Thomas is out of Sylacauga Alabama. She has USC as one of her favorites, and is expecting to make her announcement on this Thursday Nov. 14th in a ceremony at her high school. The early signing period is the day prior (Nov. 13th, or this Wednesday), and she is expected to sign with whoever she chooses, and then make the official announcement the next day. Thomas is a very athletic 6-0 SF who can dunk...

Dawn Staley has really elevated her recruiting over the past 2-3 classes. Being inducted into the basketball HOF this offseason has surely helped in that arena. The roster already has 4* junior Aleighsa Welch as it's most veteran leader from the 2011 class, 3 talented 4* players from the 2012 class in Tiffany Mitchell, Asia Dozier, and Khadijah Sessions, and high 4* post Alaina Coates from last year's cycle. Adding the 3 5* talents already committed plus either or both of Wilson and Thomas would make a roster that's talented enough to contend for national titles....

I'm happy for Dawn in general doing a great job but man was I hoping we could land one of those ladies.

UNC had the great class last year and if the pieces fall SC may be the best this year. I felt that the LVs had better chance for White than for Wilson. But who knows about 18 year olds.

I will be surprised if Wilson even visits TN. She is going to USC with White, and Thomas will also likely follow.

Dawn has never had this much talent at Temple or USC, so let's see how she handles it.

If Wilson wants to play bigtime ball she is all lady Vol. If not then she just a game chicken... lol
