Ja'Wuan has an opportunity to really help himself as far as his NFL stock is concerned this week. It's not often the right tackle gets to match up one-on-one against the NCAA leader in sacks, Michael Sam.

I expect Ja'Wuan will step up to the challenge and neutralize Sam which in turn will really help the Vols while he's helping himself.

Can't wait to watch this battle, ought to be a good one!

Always felt a little sorry for JJ.He let Kiffen talk him into decommitting from Bama by telling him they would be going on probation. He went through the coaching carousel at Tn and missed out on 2 NCs at Bama.

If he didnt feel more comfortable at UT he wouldn't have chose to come here. Plus he's gotten to start all 4 years.

For the record, I don't think Ja'Wuan would agree with you.

Better to go through rough times at Tennessee than win 4 national championships at Bama.

If we win out...which we have the talent to do so...then JJ will have had a good season and reason to be proud of his choice. He could always look back and say he was part of the class that turned the corner for his alma mater.

He might have never gotten nearly as much PT had he chosen Bamer. In fact, I know he wouldn't have. Fluker came out last year and there was NO way he would have supplanted him.

I talked with JJ, he said "Naw man, I'm good". Then he threw in a "GO VOLS!" for good measure.

So you can go ahead and stop feeling sorry for him.

James is better than Tiny, Tiny gets the silly mistakes game after game and it has been the last 2 years and James goes about his business, and never hear a thing.

Who know with bamas line JJ might have not seen the field as much this way I know he will make a few Million in the NFL, so money wise he made the right choice and we all know its in the green and I mean money not weed.:)

He has 4 years of knowledge and experience playing in the buital SEC plus he's learned how to cope with serious adversity, learned how to study and learn new coaches ways, attitudes and schemes, ect and all of that will get him a nice paycheck in the NFL.

There's no way at alaBummer that he'd have nearly as much playing time, knowledge and experience on his resume" for the NFL.

I'm glad we have him and I believe he knows he made the smart decision to become a VFL.

Now go ROCK peoples world on the football field young man and stake a higher claim to your future NFL success.

#BrickbyBrick...VFL...GBO!!!

The way Ja'Waun represents us you'd think he was born at Neyland under a full orange moon and delivered by the General himself. Ok maybe the General part was an exaggeration but JJ's blood runs orange. I think he'll handle Sam well.
