I'm just glad these seniors are happy. After everything they have went through here the last 4 years, I just hope we get 6 wins and give them a chance to win their first bowl game.

Agree, they deserved so much better than what they got. Hope we get a bowl and send them out with a bowl game "home game".

That senior class will be the one that finally saw things turned around.

It's amazing how you can feel so connected with people you don't even know these young men have a special place in all of our hearts and we may never meet them. I am so proud and happy for our seniors it's like watching your own children grow up and finally get things they deserve. I am proud to have coach jones and proud to be a vol

The growth in this team from week to week is remarkable. CBJ instills confidence in his players unlike what we've had the last few years. From here on out, anything is possible with these Vols!

On the post game show yesterday, Marlon Walls said that the whole team would run through a wall for CBJ, it clicked, for me anyway, that this is gonna be a fun ride back to the top.

I feel the same way. When we got the ball with around 3 minutes to go, I just thought this would be a wonderful win if they could pull it off. All we needed was to get in field goal range. Then when Justin threw the long pass and Marquez North made his highlight reel catch, I knew we were in field goal range. I immediately thought of Michael Palardy, Byron Moore, Dontavias Sapp, Corey Miller, Ja'Wuan James, James Stone, Marlin Walls, Rajjon Neal and all the other seniors, what they have endured, all the changes, all the heavy criticism levied at them. Someone I knew that Michael would make that kick. I thought of my son who is a senior, too, who said he stayed in the stadium as long as he could before he was told to leave since it was the biggest game for him while at UT. They deserved that win. My elation was more for them and the rest of the team as anything else. It was certainly heartwarming to see them having fun down on the field by the band and the student section. You know it was a special moment and later Daniel Hood' said that it is "something to remember when he's 90". GBO!!

And he didnt even have to hand out bags of tacos or sanitation advice!


The game was so awesome. Saw Butch chest bump that guy from Duck Dynasty at the 50 right after the win!

Everybody was going crazy and hugging and enjoying the feeling of a signature win!

Ja'Wuan and all the other members of our team deserve to be treated with respect and as men, and not boys. Funny how a little confidence in a leader does for the entire team, much less our fan base.
