Max sentence for him for several reasons.

Sara was lucky. Somebody is usually killed by deranged Bama fans after they lose. It could have been her.

It’s bad enough the economy here is so strong that bamers can come here to get jobs but we can’t allow them to bring that bat$hit crazy attitude that they’ve gotta kill somebody every time they lose a damn football game. He needs to taste some prison time and then be sent outta Tennessee. That $hit might play in Bama but it don’t play here.

Interesting irony here, Jay made a point last week on radio show to say “Nick recruits high character kids who don’t get arrested like at Tennessee!” No Jay, Tuscaloosa is just 💯 paid off! Now who got arrested???? 🤣 karma Jay karma 🤣🤣🤣 sound like Jay was riding the crazy train!

report wife saw this morning said that Tennessean does not publish names of alleged assault victims

apparently Bham ABC station reported Evans was target

assumed once that he was the king of Mr. Cleans

And that’s just another reason this crazy needs to pay the price of incarceration. Attempted murder with a car is serious as is any domestic abuse. If this had happened in Bham, it would never seen the light of day.

No, I didn’t. This case has witnesses. Johnson case was “he said/she said”. Barker was arrested coming back later that night. The biggest issue I had with Johnson case was the corrupt DA wouldn’t provide the plaintiff (I could use another term to describe her) telephone records after they destroyed the phones. Apples and oranges.

This is very sad. I looked up to Jay Barker and his willingness to speak on his faith. I do not condone his actions and hope that he gets help. Its also sad that a marriage could possibly be broken or ended because of his actions.

For those who want to blast his faith as "typical hypocritical Christians" just remember (1) that's a tired and uneducated argument; and (2) the bible says all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Nowhere in the scriptures does it say Christians will be without temptation or sin.

Did Christians forgive Jimmy Swaggart so quick? I don’t think so. At least Swaggart accepted his sin and responsibility. Barker had 3 hours (drive from Bham to Nashville) to read scripture to himself and 24 hours to admit his sin. He did neither.

Feel free to post a link of Barker’s public apology for attempting to harm his wife or damaging his marriage (she don’t need a dime of his “money”). You can’t because, like most narcissistic people, he’s put himself as the victim of his our actions. He made a public statement for that! The scripture quotes are how these sick people operate.

Bless your heart. As hard as this is to believe, Christians make mistakes too. Where does it say Christians are perfect? Feel free to post that link.

That’s weak. No one says anyone is perfect but first thing is to accept responsibility. Any responsibility. This clown didn’t. Instead hid behind his “faith” to ask for privacy when he is critical of 18-20 yr old kids who make far less serious mistakes.

Listen, defend this guy if you want. What people do makes more of an impression on me than what they say. Move on.

To each their own. Not defending him, but defending Christians from the typical "hypocritical Christians" weak sauce arguments from the usual crowd. You responded to my post, not vice versa. How about you move on? I'll continue to defend my faith.

You have to understand that when someone you are arguing with does not use facts or logic, then the argument cannot be settled. The most sophisticated strategy you'll find on this guy's part is that of infinite regression, and who knows where that goes?

She is just as crazy as Barker. They deserved each other. I have a friend who played in her band one tour. Let’s just say she’s available alright.
