Wow. I'm going to take this as a good thing because I feel like he usually doesn't have anything positive to say about us. Plus his head is WAY up Duke, UNC, UK, and KU's respective asses. I can't wait for this season to start!

He said he is very atheletic, and very fast. Jay also said his main problem is consistancy. Most vol fans know these things already but good to hear it from an outsider.

Barring the exception where he picked the Cornell nerds to beat Kentucky in the tourney last year He isn't a UK fan, but he does love the ACC. More often than not though, he is objective and fair.

I always thought that too, but it seemed like he was drooling over 3 of those 4 teams ALL last year. I usually like him, his commentary, and analysis, but he was being super subjective last year. Or maybe it was just me who got rubbed that way.

He does have the tendency that when he finds something he likes, he will talk about it and bring it up at every available moment. I remember last year the gameday crew was talking about a matchup between two teams, and Bilas made a reference how team "a" would have to be able to penetrate and shoot to break down a zone, "just like Duke". Problem was, Duke was not playing, nor had they played against the team in question. It came out of left field.

Yet, the points he makes are usually valid and spot on. He just likes to use the teams he likes as examples to back his theories.

Look, people can say whatever they want about the summer. Until he plays to his potential consistently during games after November, I guess I have to be considered a basher because I'm not a fan of the poutiness and "inconsistency".

How he plays in camps and tryouts from May-August means as much to the team as how I play May-August. Bring it in the uniform, then he'll silence his critics. Not because he made someone at the LBJ skills camp say, "man that guy who has a long wingspan sure is fast, he's really good."

I agree with this completely.
