Jay Cutler will have a breakout year this year.

I think the yardage number may be a touch on the high side (although I could see him possibly flirting with 4000, Brandon Marshall will need to have one hell of a season though) but I agree. He will have a great season.

He'll have a dang good year, i agree, but i just don't know if the broncos will throw enough for it to be 4000+

Bingo. John Elway only threw for 4,000 yards once. I think that was before Shanahan was the coach. Plummer managed to pull it off once, too.

If cutler has a huge year, so will selvin young. And vice versa.

Our depth at RB is a huge concern this year, as well as some O-line issues. Shanny isn't nearly as confident in his system for this year. He's said he will finally let Cutler do his thing this year, which includes the redzone, which was woeful (due to awful playcalling, look at the Green Bay game) last year.

looking good so far.
by the way, do you have a rotating signature or what?
sometimes it's Marshall and sometimes it's Royal.

Yeah, it's a random selection. There's Marshall, Royal, and a "Celebrate" one with Cutler and Royal.

I wish the Titans had gotten Cutler instead of Young. In the long run Cutler will be the better qb then Young or Leinart!

We went over this on one of the other threads that, while cutler's definitely the better qb now, unfortunately they would have won less than 8 games in 06 (when they went 8-8) and fisher and staff would have been fired and the team would suck now....had they been able to keep mcnair or something for another year, then yeah it would have totally worked out perfectly with cutler!

He already is the better QB. The other two aren't even the starters for their team right now.

Young and Leinart are bottom-feeding, mediocre QB's. Cutler's got it all. I'm so glad we didn't keep Plummer around.

Comparing Cutler to Leinart doesn't even make sense. Cutler has positioned himself as a top-tier QB, maybe even approaching elite status. Leinart can't even be successful with the best WR duo in the NFL.

This is a little premature. Gotta love it though.

ESPN - Cutler needs to be careful when it counts - AFC West

Jay Cutler has been fabulous the first two weeks.

He has to be considered an early candidate for the MVP award. Cutler, in his second full season as a starter, has thrown for 650 yards. He has a great command of the offense and he throws one of the hardest, tightest passes in the NFL.

He is clearly well on his way to being a star. Still, Sunday, Cutler showed he needs to work on one, major problem: He has to stop making mistakes in crucial times.

His only two mistakes of the young season came deep in San Diego territory on Denver's final two drives of the game. He threw an interception at the goal line with less than five minutes to go with Denver winning, 31-30. Then, he had the infamous fumble on the controversial call in the final minute.

The mistakes ended up not hurting Denver as Cutler made two great plays on Denver's final two plays of the game. Cutler is on to great things, but he has to show he can keep his composure when it counts the most.

Meanwhile, Denver receiver Brandon Marshall has 55 catches in his past five games. No one in the history of the NFL has caught that many passes in any five-game stretch.

I am a Bronco fan, so I've been saying since Cutler played his first preseason game he would be great, and better than Vince and Matt Leinart
