Jaylen Wright: 4 carries

Why? I didn’t see if he had an injury or something.
Yeah, he left.

Looked like he took a stinger. They announced he wouldn't come back after he came out the game. I don't know if they've released anymore info about him, doubtful they will.

He was announced as not returning, when they mentioned the other injuries sustained during the game. Or maybe CJH forgot he was over there in the sidelines....🤷🏽‍♂️

They said he had a Upper Body injury which could rule in a lot and probably rule out leg injurie's etc..

He cost me in our Pick The Score thread. I might have won if he had gotten 78 yards. I believe my 28-24 pick would have held up.

We have some good backs, but Sampson looks like the star to me. I look for him to take carries from the other two going forward.

Should have at least reviewed that hit for targeting. Helmet-to-helmet, tackler ducked his head and hit Wright's ear-hole with the crown of his helmet. I guess it's not surprising the refs missed it when they somehow couldn't see the facemask that nearly ripped Nico's head off.

Well hopefully we can get him back next weekend. That would stink to not have our best offensive player for that game.

What is the concussion protocol in terms of time before he could return to play? Is there an automatic minimum or is it case by case evaluation?

I think it’s case by case . I’m sure he’ll have to pass whatever protocols are put in place. We’re going to need him Saturday night. Please don’t @ me about “we don’t really need him because of Sampson.” Yes we do . He’s our best back and everyone that matters has said so since June. We need him in Pass pro as much as we need his rushing ability.

I have to wonder just what happened to the SEC officials. This year they are horrid. 10X worse than last year. I watched Miss. St. get robbed by that "interception" by a SC player that was out of bounds. Even with the replay they ruled it wrong. It's really out of control. People mention it but do you think these officials really ARE placing bets on the games? Now that college and pro sports have embraced gambling the question has to be asked "who really is determining the outcome of the these games. One of the announcers at the A&M game was actually talking about the "debacle" of officiating last weeks games (of course the TN-FL game).
