I'm in my late 50s, we will leave it at that, and am a huge Steely Dan fan. Have seen them live a dozen times, including traveling from Orlando to NYC to see then in a famed venue there.
So that is where I'm coming from. And I will from time to time post some of their work which is less commercially known, but nonetheless of great value and talent.
Now, to the matter at hand. I picked this up from, of all things, an SD discussion blog. The band is called Monkey House, out of Canada. And this is a song about being a musician. In New York. Or at least one who tried. I'll call this jazz, but structured. Not meandering.
Hope others enjoy it, too.
