not quite sure what that means since Stephens and Henton never saw much of the field....but Brantley seems like he will be good.

I remember entering the '97 season, and how relieved I was to never see Danny Weurffel again. I think Brantley will be an upgrade from Doug Johnson.

In any other program maybe he isn't all that great. But in that offense, with that coaching staff, those resources in Gainesville a great many doubters will be unpleasantly suprised. If I've learned 1 thing over the years it is that the house that Spurrier built is a self fueled juggernaut of a program, wins and titles bear great recruiting...and vice versa. Sweat, commitment, toughness, and determination are the things it takes to compete with Gainesville. He'll be ready...hope we are as ready.

True, I still can't believe that all those kids still chose to go play for that looney after his public meltdown and disowning of his family....but they did, and they are once again loaded. Maybe it will never end.

I live in Florida and UF doesn't really need to recruit.

There are players that are born to be Gators and if you get 20 of the top 50 players in Florida -- you play for a championship.

I think Tennessee has the same thing going, but getting 20 of the top 50 players in Tennessee would get you third in the eastern division -- maybe.

Tennessee has been a huge overachiever through the years based on the in-state players available. Look at the top 10 programs of all time and with the exception of Notre Dame, there is not another school with so little D-I players coming out of high school.

So why waste time here? Gator nation is the place to be.

I still can't believe that some mock a man's serious medical issues and choose to project their own fantasies about his relationship with his family when those same people have no idea what that relationship is...but they do, and once again the Gators look to be loaded. Maybe it will never end.

I still can't believe that people would join a rival teams message board and do nothing but annoy everyone with their post.
