Yep - they're all in the minors for one reason or another but it sure looks like fun. I assume when you are sent down to AAA you are still on your majors salary (at least for a while). Work on you game, goof off, go to the bank.

I highly doubt that in Francoeur's case. I would think he got picked up on a minor league deal and he's just trying to hang on and get back to the majors.

Yup. He got released by the Giants last year, signed a minor league deal with the Indians and was cut during Spring Training. The Padres signed him up to another minor league deal.
