That didn't answer the question. I'm positive if USC was considering him for HC, he would take that over being the OC in Seattle. My question, again, is why isn't he being considered. It can't be age or lack of experience .

I think USC is only looking at big names who have proven themselves at HC right now. They want to make a "name" hire

The consensus among many seems to be that Norm Chow might get the Seattle OC gig with Carroll, according to some sources. From the Chicago Times via Rotoworld:The Chicago Tribune reports that Pete Caroll wants Norm Chow to be his offensive coordinator in Seattle, not Jeremy Bates. Bates is set to interview for the Bears OC job where Jay Cutler is begging him to coach him as he did in Denver.
