Jerome Carvin, OG, Tennessee

  • Carvin pass blocked and paved the way for a historic Tennessee scoring effort as the Vols beat UT Martin, 65-24, on Homecoming.
  • Played 48 snaps and did not allow a sack or a hit as the Vols rolled up 696 yards of total offense, representing the second-most yards in single-game school history and the most since a school record 718 vs. Troy on Nov. 3, 2012.
  • Carvin and the Vols scored 65 points - their most in a game since Sept. 23, 2000, and they put up 52 points in the first half, a modern era school record.
  • Carvin, the starting left guard, made his 37th career start, and he has not allowed a sack in 20 straight games dating back to last season.

Congrats Jerome!

Ironically, his Pro Football Focus (PFF) Score for the week was: LG Jerome Carvin — 62.7 (48 plays) which is good but was worse than all the other starting OL except Cooper Mays. lol

We're gonna have need to replace a lot of OL starters next year!
