Confirmed the injury as a torn meniscus in his right knee. Makes last nights effort pretty incredible.

After him being the only one to show a few times this season,Ike at vandy, and now after last nights performance, I will never question this guys heart. VFL jeronne maymon!!!

I played golf with a torn meniscus for about 3 months, Maymon must have a high tolerance for pain.

I had arthroscopic surgery for a torn meniscus. It worked for a while.

Now I'm headed for a total knee replacement.

Unless you've had a serious bone bruise or something similar, you'll have a hard time imagining the pain.

Thanks, Jeronne. Best wishes for a full recovery. :good!:

Dude is a machine. Proud to have him on our team. He always gives 110%. Most definitely a VFL.

Both knees scoped several times prior to total knee replacement. Torn meniscus surgery is a piece of cake compared to a total knee replacement. Kinda like comparing a Lexus to a go cart.

We need about 10 Jeromes on this team. Stokes needs to up his game even though he is young, McBrick needs to sit not play 33 minutes a game nothing but a liability that occassionally makes a 3.

I meant the pain from the torn meniscus, not from the surgery. :hi: You're right, that wasn't much of anything at all. Just another session with the ice packs.

I can't imagine running, jumping, sudden stops and turns with all that cartilage flapping around inside his knee.

You get used to it. Played most of a football season with a torn ACL and meniscus. (Should have had it looked at, dumb move...I realize that.) It does suck though.
