Oh yeah, there he is, #79 in the class of 2009 - Grade 91. The 40 grade on our espn page had me scratching my head.
Any story behind why he's not at Marquette?[/QUOTE]
Former two-time Wisconsin state prep player of the year Jeronne Maymon has enrolled at the University of Tennessee and will walk on to the basketball team there, according to a report in the Knoxville News-Sentinel.
The 6-foot-6, 250-pound Maymon played nine games for the Marquette Golden Eagles this season before deciding to transfer last month. Coach Buzz Williams said at the time that Maymon's camp was unhappy with the way the freshman forward was being utilized and the amount of playing time he was receiving.
Maymon averaged 4.0 points and 4.2 rebounds in just over 16 minutes of action at MU. He sat out one game, a 77-73 loss to North Carolina State on Dec. 5, with a hip pointer, and played his last game for the Golden Eagles on Dec. 12 in his hometown of Madison in a 72-63 loss to Wisconsin.
Maymon, who won't be eligible to play until mid-December next season due to NCAA transfer rules, is expected to receive a scholarship at some point at Tennessee. The Volunteers are coached by former UW-Milwaukee coach Bruce Pearl.
