Looks like Jerry got a new job.

Former Tennessee men's basketball coach Jerry Green is expected to be named director of basketball operations at Oklahoma.

The Oklahoman reported Green has been in Norman house shopping.

Who cares if the guy was a butthead? He won games....Shouldn't have gotten rid of him...Oh well, I wish him luck...I'm curious to see how hiring Pearl is going to turn out.

Nope, should have never gotten rid of him. But Pearl should do good with his style of play. But only time will tell.

:thefinger: Jerry Green. I would much rather watch a less talented team overachieve and win some games they shouldn't than ever watch the train wreck that was UT in the stretch run and post season. I could have coached those teams to 20 wins.

I liked Buzz (until he left and bashed the UTAD) but he was not the answer. I hope CBP can put UT back in the hunt.

Personally, I liked O'neill's type of ball the best. At least the players worked hard and had a definite game plan. But then again he was exactly like my coach in HS.

Green should do OK, because they are not putting him in a position where they are counting on him for team control and discipline. Because he can do neither of those two things.
