....I was actually excited to see if one of those idiots tried spraying a shark with some Ed hardy cologne and met an ugly end.

Just saw the ad. I couldn't help but chuckle for a quick sec and shake my head. The guy checking his hair after shooting at the shark just shows how awesome it will be.

I learned on Shark Week that the first recorded shark attack happened there. Their reenactment was quite entertaining.

That's actually not entirely true. It was the first time that they realized the attack was from a shark. There were attacks predating that were simply attributed to "big fish." There was a documented attack in a harbor in Charleston, SC where a guy fell into the water in then was bitten in half by what was probably a great white several years prior to the New Jersey stuff.

In South Carolina I would think a large tiger shark is far more likely. I don't think that's a very common area for Great Whites.

I opened this thread hoping to read that all of the cast members from Jersey Shore were attacked by sharks. Disappointed.

Could have been, who knows? They were going off the size of the fish which was around 20 ft in length. Great whites are up down the east coast though and migrate as far down south as Jacksonville, FL.
