They made one of the best trades ever today. Their Second rounder for Thomas Jones and their second round pick.

What a great move for the jets. I am not sure I understand what chicago was thinking here unless they just wanted to dump some salary.

Great move by the Jets. If I'm a Bears fan I'd much rather have Jones than Benson in the backfield. I know several Bears fans and they are NOT happy aout this..lol

I think it was a stupid move no matter where you stand on the Jones/Benson debate. Even if they think Benson is the man what does it hurt to have both? They gave up a very solid back not for an EXTRA draft pick but to just move up six spots in the second round. This is borderline Houston passing on Bush stupid.

Needless to say, this Jet fan is pretty excited. They needed an every-down back and they got it for practically nothing. Jones was a better option than any FA back out there.

As for Houston, he had some bad luck last year. When he was healthy and got carries, he produced. But whenever he had chances to make impressions, he got hurt.

From a Jets standpoint, getting the RB help is great but they still desperately need some o-line help.
