Why confuse the lemmings with facts? Pearl will now attempt to use his faith the way OJ used his race. No big surprise. You had to know the martyr card was coming.

seriously though, noone needs to make this a religious/ethnic issue at all. Those get messy and almost always go in the wrong direction really quickly.

Being Messianic is still not popular with many Americans who consider themselves jewish, although with Jews for Jesus less active in airports it is not quite as antagonistic of a relationship today.

Being Jewish is both religious, and ethnic. People hilariously continue to act like they do not understand this repeatedly in threads about Pearl.

The funny thing about ethnic jewry worldwide is that it has to include those in Ethiopia who insisted they were a part, and who genetics now prove correct. The lost tribe in the UK is still a complete crock however.

One thing you will not hear many people talk about is that while Ashkenazi Jews are on of if not the smartest studied discrete population group, they are significantly smarter and more accomplished as a group than other jewish populations including Sephardic jews.

It is pretty incredible to look at the accomplishments in the last 100 years of Ashkenazi jews in science and the arts. Most accomplished small group in the world during that time period despite horrific adversity.
