This isn't a good start to the summer. I know Jim Bob wasn't our number 1 or 2 QB but this still hurts!

University of Tennessee quarterback Jim Bob Cooter was suspended indefinitely today after being charged with driving under the influence.
Head coach Phillip Fulmer said Cooter was suspended for a violation of team rules.
"Jim Bob has let the team down and embarrassed himself and his family in his actions," Fulmer said.
Cooter, 21, was arrested by UT police officer Joey A. Knight about about 3:51 a.m. Saturday after running a red light at 16th Street and White Avenue, according to a Sessions Court warrant.
Cooter was driving a black Ford SUV in the wrong lane on 16th Street, according to the warrant.
According to Knight, Cooter had a "strong odor of what appeared to be an alcoholic beverage about his person and bloodshot eyes."
Cooter failed three field sobriety tests and registered 0.19 on a breath-alcohol test. Tennessees presumed level of intoxication is 0.08.
The Fayetteville, Tenn., player earned a bachelors degree in May and is scheduled to be playing this fall as a graduate student.
"Im sorry I let down my family, my team, my coaches and the fans," Cooter said in a statement today.
"The coaches have instilled a sense of discipline in our program, and we all understand that we need to be accountable for our actions. Im thankful for the coaching staff for giving me a second chance."
Fulmer added in the statement, "He will be suspended indefinitely from the team and is suspended from the first game. He also will undergo an extensive alcohol evaluation in addition to a number of internal requirements to return to the team."
