It's buried somewhere in the NFL forum, but I think it belongs here as well. Maybe Jim Bob will be the former UT QB that eventually comes home to lead the Vols back to glory! Coach Cooter. I like the sound of it.

He seems to be on a track to be a head coach someday, either NCAA or NFL. Way to go!

My dad was a James Robert ... Jim Bob to some. I always hoped Jim Bob Cooter would be the VOLS #1 QB. Best name in football. I mean why would anyone want to tag him with a nickname?

It is great to see his success.

He's one hell of a beer-pong-player. I can vouch for that.
I was at a bonfire the night Kiffin fired Cooter and Casey Woods. They showed up and burned their UT playbooks and then bashed Kiffin for about three hours.

Cooter accepted his role at UT better than any QB that I have ever seen. Although he was relegated to giving hand signals, he seemed to do it with great pride. Congrats. Couldn't have happened to nicer guy.
