Jim Knowles may already have Ohio State ready for a potential postseason matchup with Tennessee

I've lived in Columbus since 2010 and it's been strange hearing some OSU fans express that they are a bit worried about Tennessee. Oddly, even the folks covering the Buckeyes didn't realize Knowles daughter was at Tennessee. Buckeye fans made a big deal about him coming over from Oklahoma State this year and they seem to think he is a defensive guru. It's hard to say if he's really improved their defense given the fact that they've played virtually no one this year.

There is a lot of football to be played by both teams. Right now, Tennessee isn't even the favorite from the SEC to go.

I was living in Columbus the only time we ever played Ohio State. It was glorious.

I'm envious! There are some Vol fans scattered around town, but it doesn't feel like many. For years I've gotten strange looks for wearing Tennessee stuff around the city... and lots of questions about why I won't give in and root for OSU.

On my street there were 3 houses that had their UT flags flying every gameday.
Also, When I lived there we had a great group that would show up for football watch parties, if you haven’t been you should check it out.

Dear lord. Their bar is outside the outer belt? That's a bit of a hike from the Hilltop, though something I may need to check out at some point. I can safely say I am the only home on the city's westside that flies a Power T flag.
