Sorry but seriously, THIS would be a good spot for Fulmer.

he won't get it for obvious reasons, but he could really succeed there. (as in go 9-3 every year and reel in alot of good recruits easily)

P.s. Look for Torrian Wilson to drop USF now. Will be a two horse race between the Vols and Wolverines.

This will come down to Tubbs with Gran and Fulmer with a good supporting cast.

Kirby Smart will take the Texas Tech job.

Sounds perfect for Tubbs. I actually think he'd do really well there and compete for that conference every year.

The mistreatment scandal was just an excuse. If Leach had not flirted with every job opening in the country and hadn't been so defiant to his AD and President, he wouldn't have been fired. TT knew at some point he would leave and this was their way of saving face.

why did he get fired? leavitt was a dang good coach IMO... had USF up to #2 in the country a few years ago!

If Leavitt hadn't lied about the incident he probably could have remained but the Mitchell kid's father is a coach with 30+ years experience...On a different note, wonder if QB Nick Montana stays or will he be fair game again??

Nick Montana? Isnt he going to UW? And Sarkisian is supposedly staying put as far as I know.

Very funny,,, three eye witnesses separately say he slapped the kid,, Later he was reported to havetried to cover it up by bullying the kid into 'choosing his words carefully' when testifying to the investigator. this was not good and the USF program will get a better coach because of it. two Bowdens, one Tubbs, Doug Williams, etc are lining up for interviews - all better than Leavitt.
