Sounds like this is heating up.

At UW, word working its way through the coaches tonight is that Woodward is meeting with Jim Mora. Expect a yes or no soon (prob tomorrow)

Other implications: Franklin to UCLA?, who does UCLA steal if this happens, etc.

Forgot to include this: he's from Seattle, graduated from UW, once claimed he'd leave an NFL job for UW head coaching position.

He's done a great job with UCLA. Seems like a lateral move if he takes it.

As noted by several outlets, though, it's hard to keep momentum rolling there. Also, their AD is one of the most incompetent people in sports

Also just saw this potential sequence on Twitter: Mora to UW, Franklin to UCLA, Orgeron to Vandy

if udub can get alum Mora, that might be a step up. You prolly get better security than you had with Sark, he has more HC exp, and he has been recruiting Cal/SoCal the past 2 seasons.
You are just going to have to pay him.

Sark to USC;
Mora to UW;
Oregeron as HC and Kiffin as OC at UCLA, thereby bringing hatred in the crosstown rivalry to Hutu/Tutsi proportions.

Lol but your Rwandan civil war joke probably went over the heads of most posters. :)

Mora turns down USC job so USC opens up Mora's dream job. If Mora goes to WA Hayden is brilliant.

Guerrero would be a fool not to promote Mazzone if Mora jumped ship.

Dream job, Washington is historically pretty good at football, etc.

Mora is staying. The reason he was linked to UW is because that is his alma mater. Have seen several question why he would move. This would be why.

The Scoop

The reason Jim Mora, Jr showed interest in the Washington job was because Jimmy Sexton is his agent. Sexton is a master at using leverage to get his clients more money.
