...wouldn't hurt my feelings. ....or Jeff Gordon's for that matter.

I don't care what Mike Helton says, I guarantee Johnson's car was under more scrutiny because of what Knaus said following the past restrictor plate race.

Due to past incidents, you have to think NASCAR takes extra time and effort to look over the 48 car at Daytona.

Lulz. Cheating in NASCAR? It's part of the show. Slap on the wrist and boys have at it.

I think something will come of this because this is their third time getting caught at Daytona. If something doesn't happen I would be surprised.

Hendrick claimed that the car was the same one that ran all 4 plate races last year. Either he's full of it or NASCAR has some explaining to do. I'm going with Hendrick is full of it.

Isn't the point of inspection to see if the car passes or not? If not, fix the problem and end of story. JMO.

This. So many JJ haters in this thread! Bending the rules is as old as NASCAR.

Sounds kinda like "Everybody does it" from the Kiffin days. Out of tolerance once a blue moon doesn't mean much. Knaus has been suspended twice and received other penalties a handful of times. If he and JJ are the real deal they should be able to win with a car that's within the rules.

I agree, much like other crew chiefs Knaus needs to work harder on not getting caught.

Also let me say, that I do not condone cheating in any way, but with NASCAR it does not make me bat an eye. I feel as though every team is constantly trying to push the boundaries to shave that extra tenth.

I don't like JJ. It's not that I hate him or want him to wreck every race or anything like that. He is just not my favorite driver nor do I pull for him to win.

I know that there is a certain level of cheating out there is NASCAR because everyone is trying to push the limit of the rules. Jimmie and Chad have been caught three times cheating at Daytona alone. Something has to give at some point.
