Just terrible and unimaginable. I wonder if the lady was messed up after her son's skydiving death.

Why must it always be “they must be sick, or otherwise”?

Why are we not just calling them what they are evil bastards who deserve to rot in hell.

If she didn’t want to live walk out back and handle business. Don’t make others pay the price along with you.

I guess that's just me trying to imagine what could drive a person to do something like this.... especially to a child. So, so sad.

I understand that and please don’t take my comment as a slam towards you. I just don’t understand why someone does this to innocent children.

Because to do something like that you actually have to have some serious issues and a chemical imbalance in your brain caused by trauma, or addictions to drugs or porn or other things, or just faulty wiring for some other reasons. And that doesn’t excuse the action, just causes it. Two things can be true, what you said about her being evil and what Kiddiedoc said.

like I said if she felt like there was no other way then she should have walked out back and handled business. She had a choice the other two didnt especially the child.

She was in such a tortured mental state that, evidently, it wasn't "enough" to just take herself out. Just pure evil and so sad.

Yeah, I wasn’t advocating for the murder of children. Was saying both you and the other poster that mentioned severe mental issues that would cause this can be true.

Really tragic and heartbreaking stuff especially involving children. Another case of misery loving company.

Didn't that happen nine years ago? She's had ample time to process and grieve the loss or get help doing so. Don't get me wrong, losing a child is life changing but many of us have learned how to deal with it without shooting family members.

Just speculating. There has to be something seriously wrong with a person in order for them to shoot a child and a family member.

Very true, we are all just speculating. I hope for the sake of the family left behind that she left a letter.

I know you weren’t I just refuse to feel sorry for someone who made other pay the ultimate price when they had a choice. Yes it’s hard they would have lost a loved one. It would have hurt a lot I’m sure. Now because of the choice she made regardless of her “state” they have to hurt 3 times as much. When she had a the choice to walk out back and handle business but chose to take others with her for no reason at all other than her own self putty or misery.

Suicide is such a selfish act, I understand people come to a point for whatever reason that they feel it's their best option and that is incredibly sad. My grandfather committed suicide and it killed my dad, grandma and uncles/aunts for several years. I've also responded to more than I care to even try to count. Whatever the reason is it's just unimaginable to take others epically a child with you down that route.
