Once again it is Jimmy V week, and once again we get the privilege of getting to see some good basketball in the name of cancer research.
I have seen "the speech" by Jimmy more times than I can count, but it gets me every time. He truly embodied greatness, not just in basketball but as a human being.
His speech to never give up and to live you life to it's fullest will always resonate with me, as it does with many.
So be thankful for your health, for your family, your friends, your faith, your job. Also we can be thankful for the hoops!
