yeh, and he made it look easy too. I don't think any of his shots but one ever hit the rim on the way down.

you must be too young to remember Bird, Maravich, and some of the old timers then.

I'm 22 and I've never seen anyone that can light it up like JJ. He never goes cold, and he needs no seperation to get a good shot off...Fade aways, coming around pics, ....I've never seen anyone that can "stroke it" like this boy can....He can ball.

Cause JJ couldn't carry their jock..thats why. Kid has a sweet shot..but will do nothing in the NBA. He will not get the lil fouls called when he drives like he does now...that opens up his outside shot.

BTW, both of UF's guards are shooting a higher percentage of 3's than Redick this yr..Humphrey over 50% and Green .467 compared to Redicks .442 :devilsmoke:

This is pretty good coming from a fan of Michael Jordan U.

Seriously though, it's always fun watching Duke and UNC fans argue over the other team getting all of the calls in a game.

all this arguing aint going to change anyones mind lol... Still if i had .5 seconds left on the clock, and needed a three, you got to remember two things, you always want to hope that you are duke (cause they always make it), and two you want the best player on duke to be shooting (j.j. reddick).

All this doesn't matter, if you watch him you know he is probably the best shooter in NCAA basketball at this moment.

I'll take Adam Morrison from Gonzaga any day over Reddick...Man is the best player in the nation....I need some Gonzaga gear

No lie Bait. I would bet the mortgage that every big shot Bird took was going to go down.

I could only imagine the ESPN hype they would have gotten...heck even Steve Kerr at Zona lit em up with a better % than Redick.

It's not neccesarily about stats and percentages...I'm just saying that thinking back on everybody I've seen play I can't remember anyone that can stroke it like JJ. His confidence and the way he can shoot off-balance. I know for a fact he has more range than anyone I've seen....He can pull up from a couple of steps inside half court and it's straight butter.

One thing about Reddick is that he's not just a catch and shoot guy. He is great at creating his own shot which is kind of rare for a pure shooter.

also you never see j.j. off balance while taking a shot, you think its going in everytime it rolls off his fingers..
