From what I have read, it appears BOTH could come back next year if they choose. Personally, I don't see Vescovi as a true NBA prospect (too left hand dominant and struggles to create his own shot). JJJ maybe as a late 2nd round or free agent.
Neither one would hurt themselves by coming back. Any chance either or both return for a "super senior" run?

All these seniors have given a lot to the program. Really nothing else for them to prove and none really have anymore upside at this level. They need to go try and make a living while their bodies allow it. James in particular has had alot of injuries.

I don’t blame any of them for moving on, but someone like JJJ has made a little money the last year. I wonder if someone would sign him to another decent NIL deal to make it worth him staying. Aidoo, Awaka, Mashack, and Phillips should be fun to watch and getting either JJJ or SV to stay with Dilione would be a cherry on top.

I just don't see any of our guys being big time NBA prospects at the moment. JP obviously has the intangibles, but he's not ready. I could see several surprise returns.

Can't blame them for wanting to get paid, but would be nice to have some real experience on the team next season.

But why are we even discussing next year? The Vols got a championship (or 2) to win this season!

I'm not sure any of them are getting "paid" much.....if at all. Maybe overseas if that's what they want.

I don’t think any of the four are making their money on the basketball court. They could work on a graduate degree and make a good living doing what the rest of us have done. No shame in that. We would be much better next year with them back. Phillips is certainly not ready to leave either, but he may not be back. He hasn’t shown anyone watching enough to warrant an NBA contract. I hope all 5 of them are back but I think all five could be doing other things than playing for the Vols. Go VOLS, lets finish the year strong.

All of these have bled orange for us. I hope they come back, but totally understand if they can get the big contacts.

Vescovi will make millions playing internationally

JJJ probably can too. I think both could have a promising career in coaching after they hang it up as players.

Finland isn’t a big country with a rich history of basketball talent, but Lauri Markkanen recently said basketball is now the most popular sport there, so Olivier likely can carve out a career doing something basketball related there (training or development)

Don’t know enough about Uros to comment on his future.
