I know all the slashes kind of make me look like a p***y, but when your talking about 17 and 18 year old kids, they change their mind a lot, and it's a long way until NSD.

While a lot of it hinges on Scroggins, i don't think it's make or break. I think the staff is good enough to convince a prospect that while the QB(s) they have commited may not have the best ranking, they're still going to be able to get the job done.

I really dont think we get scroggins or rees i think we only get lamisson but im hope i am so wrong

I think we either get Scroggins/Rees or Rettig/Rees, and Lamaison's pretty much a done deal, he just needs to finish up a class to be eligible.

That's the point of doing a mock class. Duh. Of course we don't know for certain. You're putting your prediction out there.

Lamaison is not in this class. I don't get why that's so hard for some to comprehend. And the chances we end up not getting a QB in this class are nil. That's just ridiculous. We will take someone and it will be this month. The goal is two.

Sorry im pretty young and new to the board but i think i know a lot more than most pepole my age i read here a lot and signed up but i just think in the end rees gets mad that hes not the #1 guy and scroggins from what i hear feels it wont be that bad starting as a redshirted sohpmore at USC

We are in Rees' top 3 along with Notre Dame and Stanford. As of right, we are the only team who does not have a QB committed out of those three schools. Rees is going to be the #2 almost wherever he goes.

I do think we have a better chance at Rees then scroggins,I also didnt know he was down to 3 schools and with that list that changes my mind a little bit

Im just wondering (im rather new to the board but i do follow recruiting) how would everyone here feel if we landed Rees and Newton?

I think everyone here agrees that JS is the "sexier" pick, plus it will help a ton in luring other recruits to the hill. However, if the coaches believe on of these other guys can lead our team then by all means...

We can still get someone decent this year then go for a top 10 qb in the 11 class...

Oh i completely agree that scroggins is the best out there. But from the vibes im getting from some of these forums it sounds like he may go to usc. I believe the 2011 crop of qb talent is much more deep than this year but it would seem like we should sign at least one solid qb this class

Doesn't anyone think we can steal som guys from other schools. Esspecially offensive guys if we get Jesse Scroggins.

I hope we do get those 2 QBs or Grayson. If we don't, I seriously think we are all going to be surprised by the QBs we have already. I really just think Clawson's system was just too complicated to have it instilled and used immediately. Kiffin/ Chaney are known for having systems that while are exciting. They also are easy to pick up. Which is so much better for our QBs. Think about this we have the number 2 QB in the Nation out of High School behind none other than MARK SANCHEZ the number 7 overall in the nation. So before we're all so quick to write Crompton off lets give him a chance to learn the system and make the throws that made him the 2nd best QB in the nation out of high school in 2005.....Also everyone I am also new to the site. I also enjoy the insight you all provide about UT recruiting and our players. I can't wait for this season.
