It is good news, better news is that Urban is a headcase. The long hard fall is coming.

It will be interesting to see how many Florida Juniors declare for the draft. There are probably at least 3 or 4 more taking a serious look.

Definitely won't miss him. He has ridiculous agility and speed in the secondary. His departure is good news for our starting QB next year

Major Wright, Ahmad Black and Chris Rainey submitted paperwork to the NFL Draft Advisory Committee.

All 3 would be better served coming back.

Rainey is a special teamer at the next level, maybe a good one. That's about it for him though because of his size

So the rats are jumping off the sinking ship...Excellent

It was pretty much a foregone conclusion that Joe would go pro this year. Now if all 10 that submitted paperwork jump, then maybe you have a leg to stand on.

You mean like Joe Haden?

He's been projected as a Top 5 pick too.

My response was to the culmination of the players who may be leaving.

Spin it anyway you would like. It's blatantly obvious trouble is brewing in paradise... Or in this case Cess Pool (Gainesville).

Hernandez and Dunlap are both projected first rounders. Dunlap has been projected as high as a Top 10 pick.

It's no surprise at all they're declaring early, but feel free to spin away. You're pretty good at it yourself.

If thinking all is well down in Gainesville helps you sleep better, then by no means let someone like me change that.

As if you could. :eek:lol:

At the end of the day, most UF fans expected Dunlap, Haden and Hernandez to leave early before the season started.

The Pounceys were a question mark, and it was assumed guys like Major Wright and Carl Johnson would test the waters with the advisory board. Chris Rainey is a head scratcher.

There's no spin here...UF just had THAT many players good enough to consider leaving early. This would have been the case had we played in Pasadena instead of New Orleans, and it would have been the case had Meyer not decided to take a leave of absence.

No big news here. It was inevitable that a team as loaded as Florida was would lose some players to the NFL. I'm more concerned about winning in Knoxville- the rest will take care of itself.
