Must be a Joe thing. Let's just hope he's as good as his word, too.

Hope he can back it up. That won’t be a easy game to win although we should and it’s Joe’s first true road test as our starting QB.
You can bet the farm it's gonna be on their walls all the way up to the game. Milton done wrote the check. Hope he can cash it. If not....ooh boy. Merciless and full of venom the fans will be if they lose that one.

If he loses that game, he will likely have no legacy.

He, He, how bout the the whole dam- team. HE could have his best stats game and the TEAM as a whole plays like crap and loose. It's not just HE.. If (that word again) his game is as expected then he should not be saddled with the lose.

Context talking about playing there in his home State
In Florida the State , what he said
to Florida Gators what the reporters are spinning for clicks
2 different statements, he's talking about his home state and he has a good record there including his HS career & Orange Bowl..
Now if he had made it personal and said I don't lose to the Gators in Florida, thats different.
I think some would rather him say, although I have always played very well in my Home State of Florida, I've joined the Vols and people here seem to be scared of the Gators ,so I better go in with a checked confidence.

That takes you so far, until you get punched in the face.
