I disagree with two things. One, Warlick's never proved herself a capable coach as she's fallen short anytime she's faced decent competition. And, two, the competition in women's basketball isn't markedly better than it was 20 years ago. It's still the same small collection of teams that can win and do. So, it's entirely appropriate to judge her on the "glory days" since that means we have a standard here at Tennessee which can, and should, be met as one of, if not the, standard bearers of the sport. Nothing chaps my ass more than hearing someone say that the expectations should be lowered. Drives me crazy.
I've argued for years the SEC isn't what is used to be (and performance in March has proven that), and Holly has benefited from dominating a watered-down league during her tenure as coach giving her a deceptively impressive looking resume with win percentage and league titles. I don't think that will be the case anymore...
And he will probably only do it once unlike the repetition fest here.
So do you want us to discuss something that isn't happening? Like a fairy tale Warlick who wins all her games and leads her team to championships? Or, just not post at all? Like if you can't say something nice don't say anything at all? Works for Holly.
FINALLY the local media is starting to call out Holly. Adams calls it like it is and doesn't pump sunshine and rainbows, I can see why so many dislike him...
Exactly. If women's basketball were gaining in depth of talent, then there wouldn't be one team winning every year at a 98% rate, or whatever it is.
No, that is not what I am saying. Can't people can discuss the current state without bashing or saying the same ole thing over and over again?

Another issue: Diamond DeShields' is the team's best player and it's most creative offensive player. However, she also can create turnovers at an alarming rate. She's committed 20 in the last three games and 55 in 16 games this season.
Her greatest skills suggest you should build your offense around her. The turnovers say: "Do so at your own risk."
This is the disturbing part of the article. DD is both a blessing and a curse. Which aspect will win? Will the "curse" aspect negatively affect recruiting?
