Going to join Kiffin and fellow Last Chance U QB De'Andre Johnson at FAU.

I know television can present people in certain ways that might not be accurate but I really wasn't impressed with that kid's makeup and attitude in the first season of Last Chance U. Not really surprised he's transferring again. Johnson, on the other hand, actually does come off as a changed person in the second season, IMO. He was a good teammate and kept his nose clean throughout the season.

I don't see any way JFIII starts at QB over Johnson unless Kiffin has suddenly changed his offensive philosophy to more of a triple option attack. I imagine he'll be sticking with WR

On the show he was a garbage QB. Was surprised OM offered him.

Ole Lane Kiffin is building a pirate crew of a program down there. FAU is going to turn into the Tortuga of the CFB world. He's the head coach, he hires his brother---who is still under investigation by ole miss---then hired Art Briles son as an offensive coordinator, and he's been plundering every jail cell in the country for players.

Yeah. Don't see how any of that could go wrong....hahaha

But I'll watch. Oh yeah, it's like the Jerry Springer show at FAU now. I'm definitely tuning into that dysfunction on a regular basis. Lolol.

Who knows. Maybe FAU is the 1980's Miami 2.0....from the outhouse to the penthouse....anndddd then into NCAA investigations lolol.

Talking about JFIII? He really only played significantly in one game where their starter (Wyatt Roberts) was hurt and balled out, which, IIRC, happened to be in front of Rhett Lashlee. The show portrayed that game as basically the only reason Auburn offered him.

What appeared to do him in at EMCC was having a bad attitude and essentially taking offense at the expectation from the coaching staff that he'd have to compete for the starting job. Really kind of sad he has that attitude, because he appears to be a smart guy (already graduated from Auburn) and hasn't been in trouble.

It's also interesting that FAU had a backup QB transfer yesterday. JFIII isn't going to be their starting QB, but I wonder if he gets first dibs now if anything happens to Johnson.

Regardless Kiffin really appears to be building a motley crew down there, surprise surprise, of guys who either have been in trouble or are just punks.
